TV i’ve stopped keeping track of because its too much to keep with release schedules. Widows Bay came out of nowhere. As for albums I’ve got my eye on new phoebe, role model, Katseye, Ari i guess, and lana del rey’s stove if it ever comes out. I would love if the new Beabadoobee hits hard but i doubt it. Movies i think camp miasma, tony, and vérité have potential. But once we get into fall theres Oscar season so the game starts to change
Totally hard agree!! Pray Beabadoobee gets her "Sabrina/Chappell bump" with her release!! VV excited for Camp Miasma and weirdly think Behemoth! will either emerge as a zeitgeist-dominating hit or only be discussed among those with hyper-active Letterboxd accounts! Speaking of, I'd love for the new Mike Leigh to become an internet darling, but I don't think it'll make a splash beyond the fans who already know and love his work, and not much of his movies contain much "discourse-generating" fervor. "Oh, the scene between mother and daughter contains oceans of truth and contradiction" is something that gets my ass out of bed every morning, but it won't enliven the public ala The Odyssey or Tony!!
