In any other circumstances, I’d say this was overplayed, but it's gay Halloween! I'm not going to be a Scrooge about gay Halloween! It's the greatest time of the year. You there, boy! Dressed like the bacon, egg, and cheese bagel from Challengers! Go to the liquor store and buy the biggest bottle of tequila they have! For tonight, we celebrate!

I’m still deciding whether this speaks to our joi de vivre and endless desire for connection and celebration, or if we’re simply out of ideas. Dealers choice. Whatever speaks to you. Society is either endlessly remaking itself for the better or bereft of any substance. All the knockoff versions on Twitter are the easy joke unless you’re a real freak. There are a couple of examples of someone opening their soul to us when they draft their look-alike contest tweet and it’s not the people picking Paul Mescal, I’ll say that much.
Saorise Gagging Men
Every so often you forget that the people of the British Isles (the independent nation of Ireland included) are about 5 years behind the US when it comes to Twitter Feminism. They’re just discovering Red Scare over there. So this clip makes more sense when you realize the concept of being gagged feministly on a late-night talk show is still novel to them. That’s no excuse. We have the same internet. Log the fuck on and start reading American buzzfeed again.
The Rizzler
We’ve reached peak rizzler. I know I’m supposed to rise above. I’m supposed to cry what happened to culture? However, Big Justice and Co provide endless fascination. We get served a lot of nothing on the internet and have to pretend it’s fascinating or at least mildly interesting. This family is interesting despite itself and every window we get into their lives and operation is a rich text. As long as we let them into our hearts, I’m happy to have them.

Maybe One Day I’ll Get Married
TikTok thrives in middle America. That’s where it gets its flavor. The rest of us in our big city lives would use TikTok for glorified advertising no matter the personality of the app. We would make anything Instagram now that we know how. What makes TikTok unique is how people who have almost nothing to gain from using it, use it. When it is truly just a social app we get all kinds of unique expressions and also plenty of SLOP. It’s fine to make a video about wanting your best friend to be your bridesmaid but it has to be less than 1 minute.
