I remember when it all worked. When one could waste an afternoon or evening switching between 5 platforms and get somewhat equal enjoyment out of all of them. When social media felt worth the price of admission, before they did the studies and lost all their money. When the Venture Capital funds flowed and the offices seemed like a cool place to work. Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Vine, Pinterest. All had their place in the rotation. Everything was a little bit shitty and everyone was a little bit ugly. It was better then. I was a teenager, and life was full of potential.
