This past weekend, one of the worst things that can happen to anyone happened to my friend Lauren. She went Viral for saying something negative about New York while saying something positive about Los Angeles. She became the main character of Twitter and was put on the chopping block while people from all walks of life chimed in to say “Um Actually”. It was a nightmare.

It was the first nice day in New York City. “Nice” is the operative word here. The sun quickly disappeared behind clouds, and the temperature dipped as the day went on. It’s been a long, cold winter here in New York. Overcast days, snow, and rain. This was the first day we had proof that it could be warm again. Everyone was out of hibernation in various parks and patios, drinking. Obviously, this meant they were a little cranky when they got home and saw that someone was lightly making fun of the whole city on the internet.
